Many Park Ridge residents depend upon our speedy service when a damaging water event occurs. The Before Photo shows watermarks on the carpet, but the damage was more significant, simply extracting the liquid from the flooring material was not sufficient for a professional restoration. The After Photo illustrates Why SERVPRO did some controlled demolition to this upstairs bedroom. The subfloor was saturated, and the danger of floor joist weakening and mold proliferation were great. Though we strive to restore and not replace, discarding the carpet and drying out the floor, including the attic crawl space by the access door, follows IICRC and best practices protocols.
