River Edge Commercial Sewage Clean Up

The Before Photo shows that situation that SERVPRO techs arrived at in this River Edge property with commercial water damage. Sewage backups can do a lot of damage quickly, so the cleanup needs to begin as soon as possible to limit the amount of building materials that the water enters. Sewage and solid waste needed to get cleaned up safely so the technicians wore their personal protection equipment and performed the needed extraction and cleanup in the bathroom. In scoping the tile floor to determine if seepage occurred, luckily it did not and the seal on the grout worked to repel the sewage water. Because the cleanup efforts began so rapidly after the sewage backup, the walls and baseboards remained in place as they did not harbor any water.
