Westwood Home Has Several Rooms of Water Damage

This Westwood home had a burst pipe that affected three rooms in the home with water damage but fortunately, the homeowner brought in SERVPRO for water cleanup before it seeped into other areas of the home. Many of the on-the-job photos show SERVPRO technicians using portable pumps to move quickly around rooms and maneuver around furnishings during the extraction phase of the restoration services. However, as seen in the Before Photo, the technician is using an extraction wand with the hose running out of the window to a larger receptacle to hold the large quantity of wastewater. The After Photo shows that the carpet needed removal to dry the concrete substrate underneath and one wall around the window has been removed due to wicking the water with the drying equipment running to ensure drying goals get attained before repairs to the walls and reinstallation of the carpet gets done.
